About the Position

We are seeking a dynamic and territory-focused Regional Account Executive to spearhead new customer acquisition efforts in the restaurant and higher education sectors within a designated region. Your key responsibilities will include sourcing, qualifying, and successfully closing new business opportunities. Please note that post-sale account management is handled by our dedicated Account Management team.

Your Key Responsibilities

New Business Development (Primary Focus)

  • Identify and engage with restaurants (both single and multi-unit) and higher education dining operators in your assigned territory
  • Prioritize high-traffic locations that align with our Ideal Customer Profile
  • Engage with key decision-makers, including Food Service Directors, Retail Directors, Owners, Franchise Operators, and Multi-Unit Operators
  • Conduct discovery calls, virtual demonstrations, and in-person meetings
  • Build and maintain a robust, qualified sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed quotas
  • Secure new machine placements that align with financial and operational criteria

Territory Management (Hybrid Model)

  • Primarily work remotely, utilizing outbound calling, email communication, and virtual meetings
  • Travel within your territory (~25%) for:
    • Site visits and qualification
    • Advancing late-stage deals
    • Securing executive alignment and closing new business opportunities

Deal Execution

  • Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through to signed agreements
  • Coordinate installation dates in collaboration with internal teams
  • Ensure client sites meet qualification standards pre-contract execution
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and deal progression
  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene in Salesforce

Performance & Accountability

Your performance will be evaluated based on:

  • The number of new Botrista machines delivered quarterly
  • Pipeline generation and coverage
  • Win rate and deal velocity
  • Activity levels aligned with pipeline objectives
