Position Summary:
The Regional HVAC Service Trainer will be responsible for providing hands-on technical training to external contractors. This role aims to enhance their ability to perform advanced service work, preventative maintenance, and adhere to the highest service standards established by CaptiveAire. Combining technical knowledge with practical training, this position focuses on elevating industry expertise and proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee training sessions for a large group of mechanical contractors, service managers, and field service technicians.
  • Facilitate in-depth technical discussions on the refrigeration cycle and the precise operations of electrical and mechanical controls.
  • Continuously develop and refine course content and instructional methods.
  • Evaluate participants' knowledge levels and adjust content to ensure a unified understanding among all trainees.
  • Manage the delivery of course material effectively while encouraging discussion and addressing questions.
  • Assess course effectiveness and maintain trainee engagement throughout each session.
  • Become a subject matter expert in CaptiveAire's equipment, showcasing industry-leading developments and advancements.
  • Communicate feedback and recommendations regarding course material and industry insights to the Product Training Manager.
  • Ensure training equipment is well-maintained, software is current, tools are organized, and the training facility is presentable.
  • Provide ongoing remote support for all trained technicians.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • A strong background in HVACR is preferred.
  • Proficient in reading and navigating wiring schematics.
  • Universal EPA Certification is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for initial training sessions.
  • A passion for hands-on product exposure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent public speaking and communication skills are essential.
