QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.10–15 years of experience in multi-discipline estimating, particularly within life sciences, food & beverage, industrial, or commercial sectors. Strong grasp of design-build and integrated project delivery methodologies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., WinEst, Sage Estimating, or similar). Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Willingness to travel regionally as required. Preferred SkillsExperience in construction logistics planning, schedule development, and constructability reviews. Familiarity with CRB’s core markets and project types. Leadership experience in mentoring and managing estimating teams.

The Regional Lead Estimator is a pivotal role in fortifying pre-construction and project development initiatives within CRB's primary markets. This client-facing position is dedicated to crafting precise and thorough cost estimates during the conceptual and schematic design stages, ensuring they align perfectly with project objectives and financial plans. The role necessitates collaboration with diverse teams and supervision of trade estimators to facilitate successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the creation of conceptual and schematic cost estimates for engineering, construction, and integrated delivery projects.
  • Employ historical data, quantity take-offs, unit pricing, and systems/line count methodologies.
  • Present cost models and estimates to internal stakeholders and clients, fostering transparency and trust.
  • Work in tandem with project managers, design teams, and clients to ensure estimates align with project scope and financial goals.
  • Oversee and coordinate trade or discipline estimators to generate detailed estimates, encompassing labor, materials, and other cost components.
  • Conduct risk analyses from both CRB and client perspectives.
  • Maintain and refresh historical cost data and benchmarking tools.
  • Assist in converting opportunities into active projects during the pre-construction phase.
  • Guide junior estimators and contribute to the development of estimating standards and tools within the region.
