Key Responsibilities

As an Owner Operator Driver with Altom Transport, you are not just a driver, you are a business owner and an integral partner in our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safe Transportation: Transporting chemical and petroleum products using tank trailers while strictly adhering to DOT regulations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring your truck meets all inspection standards and remains in peak condition for long-haul success.
  • Loading & Unloading: Executing proper procedures for ISO/Flexi-Bag or Tanker operations at loading and delivery points.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Keeping accurate logs, submitting necessary paperwork, and following Hazmat regulations.
  • Customer Service: Representing Altom Transport in a professional manner at all customer locations.
  • Business Management: Overseeing fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to maximize revenue.
  • Maintaining a consistent workload by meeting mileage or hour requirements to contribute to our overall success.
  • Availability for a 24/7 operation when needed.
