Key Responsibilities

As an Owner Operator Driver with Altom Transport, you will be more than just a driver, you will be a business owner and a vital partner in our operations. Your responsibilities include:

  • Safe Transportation: Transporting chemical and petroleum products using tank trailers while complying with DOT regulations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring your truck meets all inspection standards and remains in optimal condition for long-haul success.
  • Loading & Unloading: Adhering to proper procedures for ISO/Flexi-Bag or Tanker operations at loading and delivery points.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Keeping accurate logs, submitting necessary paperwork, and following Hazmat regulations.
  • Customer Service: Professionally representing Altom Transport at all customer locations.
  • Business Management: Overseeing fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to maximize revenue.
  • Maintaining a steady workload by meeting mileage or hour requirements to contribute to overall operational success.
  • Availability for 24/7 operations when required.
