Genuine enthusiasm for supporting children with autism Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate patience and compassion Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or GED required Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification, as well as a Tuberculosis test if not completed within the last year Successful completion of a pre-employment background check Physical capability to perform various movements (sit, squat, bend, etc.) Capacity to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification from the BACB

Join our dedicated team at Centria Autism as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and play a vital role in enhancing the lives of children with autism. In this rewarding position, you will engage directly with children, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include applying evidence-based methods to teach vital communication, social, and daily living skills while helping to diminish challenging behaviors. We are seeking passionate individuals who are committed to empowering children with autism to achieve their fullest potential.

As a successful candidate, you will exhibit patience, compassion, and a collaborative spirit while working alongside a dynamic team. We offer comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills, so prior experience is not a prerequisite. However, candidates should be resilient and prepared for the physical demands of the role, which may include standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and lifting/carrying weights up to 50 pounds.
