Role overview
The RBT follows treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and applies established behavioral techniques to encourage positive changes. The focus is on helping children improve communication, social abilities, and daily living skills.
Key responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children using evidence-based behavioral methods
- Implement treatment plans as outlined by a supervising BCBA
- Support progress in communication, social interaction, and daily routines
- Keep detailed records of each session and monitor progress
- Partner with families to help reinforce skills at home
