Qualifications

Genuine passion for aiding children with autism. Patience, compassion, and teamwork abilities. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, as well as a Tuberculosis test (if not done in the last year). Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check. Ability to perform physical tasks (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must achieve Registered Behavior Technician Certification post-onboarding.

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with children, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Utilizing evidence-based techniques, you'll help foster communication, social skills, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.

Don't worry if you lack experience; we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills. The role demands physical stamina, as you will be actively engaged with children, requiring you to stand, walk, sit, bend, and lift, occasionally carrying items or children weighing up to 50 pounds.
