Role Overview: Relief Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician
This relief technician role places you at the heart of emergency care, working with a team of experienced doctors and staff in Marietta, GA. Cases range from routine emergencies to complex, critical situations. Responsibilities span triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing. The position also involves supporting pet owners through difficult moments. This is a fit for credentialed technicians seeking to apply their skills and make a real impact for pets and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respectful, attentive care to every patient and support pet owners throughout their visit.
- Deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage through discharge, acting quickly when needed.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform advanced procedures such as IVs, CRIs, and blood transfusions.
- Work closely with the team to contribute to care plans and ensure clear, effective communication.
- Be prepared to perform CPR at a high level of skill, alongside RECOVER-certified colleagues.
