As a Relief Security Officer, you will serve as the public face of the Security Team, ensuring the highest standards of security and customer service are maintained at all times. Your proactive approach to safeguarding the shopping centre and assisting visitors will be crucial in creating a safe and welcoming environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage with visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer-focused service.
- Conduct regular patrols of the site as outlined in site assignment instructions.
- Identify opportunities to assist visitors proactively.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all users of the site.
- Manage incidents according to site policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the site control room, responding to incidents promptly.
- Report any security vulnerabilities to the Control Room immediately.
- Log all non-conformances and emergencies accurately.
- Handle emergencies efficiently, keeping the Centre team informed.
- Monitor and report suspicious behavior in accordance with policies.
- Ensure compliance with all radio communication procedures.
- Document events and incidents in the Security Officer notebook as per policy.
- Perform additional duties as required to support business needs.
- Respond promptly to all security issues and events.
- Complete all training as instructed by your line manager.
