We are currently seeking an Amazon Demand Planner to enhance our inventory forecasting and supply planning efforts within our expanding marketplace operations. This pivotal role will be instrumental in optimizing in-stock performance while minimizing risks associated with overstock and excess inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain demand forecasts based on sales trends, seasonal patterns, and promotional activities.
- Evaluate historical sales data and assess marketplace performance metrics.
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to synchronize purchasing strategies.
- Track sell-through rates and monitor inventory health indicators.
- Identify potential risks related to stockouts or overstock situations.
- Assist in generating reporting and forecasting models using Excel or planning tools.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or forecasting.
- Proficient analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities (e.g., pivot tables, forecasting models).
- Experience with Amazon data or marketplace forecasting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles.
- Background in e-commerce or consumer goods is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
