We are currently seeking an Amazon Demand Planner to enhance our inventory forecasting and supply planning efforts within our expanding marketplace operations. In this pivotal role, you will help optimize stock performance and mitigate risks associated with overstock and stockouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain demand forecasts by analyzing sales trends, seasonal patterns, and promotional activities.
- Examine historical sales data and evaluate marketplace performance.
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to synchronize purchasing strategies.
- Track sell-through rates and assess inventory health indicators.
- Identify potential risks related to stockouts or excessive inventory.
- Assist in generating reports and forecasting models utilizing Excel or other planning tools.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or forecasting.
- Exceptional analytical abilities with advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables and forecasting models).
- Experience with Amazon data or marketplace forecasting is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of supply chain principles.
- Background in e-commerce or consumer goods is advantageous.
- Meticulous attention to detail and proactive communication skills.
