Our ideal candidate will deliver exceptional mental health services, encompassing individual, couples, and family therapy, to clients facing a diverse array of emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
- Evaluate client needs through comprehensive intake evaluations and clinical assessments.
- Craft personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals and requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in alignment with regulatory and ethical standards.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities.
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary and assess risk factors related to suicide or harm.
- Maintain a safe, nonjudgmental, and confidential space for clients.
- Stay updated on mental health trends, best practices, and relevant continuing education.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid and active license to practice in Texas (LPC or LPC-S).
- Ability to engage with diverse populations and address a variety of mental health concerns.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong connections with clients.
- Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and clinical documentation protocols.
- Capacity to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.
- A strong commitment to continuous professional development and self-care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or specialized training in a particular therapeutic approach (e.g., EMDR, trauma-informed care).
- Experience with providing telehealth services.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish-English) are a plus.
