Ideal Qualifications and Skills:Strong academic background with a degree in a numerical or scientific field. Commercial experience in the energy sector, preferably with exposure to energy markets. Proficiency in a European language (e.g., German, French, Dutch, Spanish) is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with the ability to write in a journalistic style. In-depth knowledge of European energy markets is essential. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, VBA, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with customers and other teams (Trading, Sales), well-organized, and able to thrive under pressure.

Join a prestigious multinational energy corporation located in the heart of Central London as a Renewable Energy Services Analyst. In this pivotal role, you'll play a significant part in managing the procurement and servicing of Renewable Energy Certificates for our client.

Your key responsibilities will include driving enhancements in the management of European renewable certificates, contributing to concept design, and offering support for various portal and ad-hoc projects.

This dynamic position requires you to be present on the trading floor, allowing you to gather real-time insights into the energy market, which will aid in your work with renewable certificates and the development of the transaction portal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of energy certificates in the UK, with a strong focus on ROCs.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements, assisting management with certificate submissions.
  • Facilitate the development and enhancement of existing web portal services.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, particularly the Procurement desk, to streamline front and back-end operations.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and research within the supply chain as needed.
  • Support sales and product development initiatives.
  • Generate and maintain a suite of European daily and weekly customer market reports.
  • Maintain a historical database for prices, supply, and demand data for customer reports.
  • Create, adjust, and disseminate customer procurement reports for gas and power.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of European energy markets, focusing on supply and demand fundamentals and global energy drivers.
