Your New Role
We are seeking a talented Resident Engineer to lead and manage various construction projects of varying complexity. In this role, you will apply standard construction techniques and engineering principles while executing a series of related tasks. You will collaborate with team members, assess project needs, and apply your engineering judgment to adapt and modify designs as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage your engineering or construction management education to analyze project engineering concepts.
- Oversee construction teams to guarantee adherence to specified procedures, methods, and materials as outlined in contract documents, guiding superintendents, project managers, and foremen throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize your technical expertise to ensure project components satisfy engineering requirements as per the contract.
- Conduct engineering calculations throughout the project for parameters such as pump performance, concrete mechanics, pipeline hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Prepare cash flow calculations based on critical path schedules and value schedules to assist project owners in budgeting effectively.
