Role overview
Consultants in this group work directly with leaders at Fortune 100 companies, growth-stage firms, and mid-market organizations. The role centers on guiding clients through Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, enterprise risk management (ERM), and internal audit projects. Assignments involve both public and private companies, with a focus on key business moments and regulatory requirements.
What you will do
- Partner with clients on SOX readiness, compliance, internal audits, and ERM initiatives.
- Support SOX compliance programs by:
- Conducting risk assessments
- Documenting and analyzing business processes to identify risks and controls
- Assessing the design and effectiveness of controls
- Testing controls for effectiveness
- Evaluating control deficiencies and their impact
- Designing and implementing remediation plans
- Summarizing and documenting findings for management reporting
- Carry out internal audit and ERM assignments to help strengthen client risk management strategies.
- Share knowledge on business process, risk, and control best practices with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop an understanding of the full range of MorganFranklin’s Risk & Regulatory services to identify additional ways to support clients.
- Build trust and credibility as a reliable advisor and partner.
