A prestigious Level III Trauma Center located in Manchester, New Hampshire is in search of a dedicated and experienced RN Manager for the Trauma Program. This pivotal role involves leading the coordination, ensuring quality oversight, and maintaining regulatory compliance throughout the trauma services.

The RN Manager will manage the trauma program across the entire continuum of care, acting as a clinical and operational bridge with emergency medical services, while ensuring compliance with state and national trauma standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and sustain a cost-effective, evidence-based trauma care system.

  • Oversee the coordination of trauma services for patients and their families throughout their care journey.

  • Act as the primary liaison between the hospital and:

    • EMS agencies

    • Fire and ambulance services

    • Law enforcement agencies

    • State trauma authorities

  • Collaborate closely with the Trauma Medical Director on the planning and execution of trauma programs.

  • Develop and uphold trauma policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with state trauma regulations and best practice standards.

  • Conduct concurrent chart reviews of trauma cases while maintaining accurate documentation within the trauma registry.

  • Spot trends, variances, and opportunities for performance enhancements; implement corrective action plans as necessary.

  • Coordinate preparation for state and American College of Surgeons (ACS) trauma designation and site visits.

  • Provide leadership and quality oversight during trauma activations within scheduled work hours.

  • Support emergency department initiatives and fulfill regional resource hospital responsibilities as assigned.

  • Maintain oversight of trauma data reporting systems, ensuring compliance with state EMS data requirements.
