Position Overview

The Safety Analysis Engineer will play a pivotal role in crafting analyses that establish the safety foundation for our reactor systems, which will be included in Oklo's licensing applications. This role involves reviewing regulatory documents and codes, developing technical strategies, executing engineering analyses, and creating comprehensive documentation. You will collaborate closely with fellow regulatory and design engineers to ensure the successful delivery of essential design and licensing milestones.

  • Conducting safety analyses employing both quantitative and qualitative techniques
  • Establishing safety bases for our projects
  • Collaborating with a diverse team to define functional, performance, and safety requirements while engineering effective mitigation strategies
  • Leading licensing projects and contributing to key licensing deliverables
  • Overseeing projects within a multidisciplinary engineering team
  • Creating analytical and computational models and methods
  • Documenting findings with modern tools and producing clear, well-structured technical reports
