About the Role
As a Sales Advisor at H&M, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include welcoming and guiding customers through our store, actively promoting our products, and providing valuable support and information to enhance their shopping experience. Leveraging your fashion knowledge, you will ensure that customers receive the best possible assistance. Additionally, you'll contribute to maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and back of house, collaborating closely with your team to create an inviting atmosphere.
A Day in the Life
In this dynamic role at H&M, no two days are the same. Your typical responsibilities will include:
- Delivering outstanding customer service by welcoming and guiding customers throughout the store and supporting their needs
- Engaging with customers in meaningful conversations to enhance their shopping experience
- Informing customers about the latest fashion trends, stories, and products
- Effectively promoting and selling our merchandise
- Encouraging customers to join our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and participate in our sustainability initiatives
- Positively representing both yourself and the H&M brand during interactions
- Collaborating with the store management team to implement commercial and operational strategies to achieve sales targets
Fashion & Trend Awareness
- Staying informed about current fashion trends, styles, and competitors
- Using your fashion knowledge to provide customers with relevant information
Team & Development
- Sharing your knowledge of service, fashion, and store operations with your colleagues
- Adhering to store procedures and legal requirements
- Giving and receiving feedback to foster growth and collaboration
- Participating in onboarding and training processes to further your development
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
- Managing the full garment cycle from unpacking to presentation
- Maintaining fitting rooms and checkout areas to best practices
- Contributing to a tidy sales floor and stockroom
- Supporting attractive merchandise displays to highlight trends and stories
