Job Overview
We are on the lookout for a meticulously organized and detail-focused Sales Assistant to become a vital part of our team. This position plays a crucial role in bolstering the sales department by managing essential administrative functions, facilitating seamless sales operations, and enhancing customer engagement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, outstanding communication proficiency, and advanced Excel capabilities. Familiarity with Pipedrive and Dodge Construction is a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team by compiling reports, monitoring performance metrics, and maintaining accurate records.
- Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis, crafting spreadsheets, and generating insightful sales reports.
- Conduct thorough research on prospective clients, projects, and market trends utilizing Dodge Construction.
- Maintain and regularly update customer relationship management (CRM) systems, specifically Pipedrive.
- Enhance client communications by addressing inquiries and coordinating follow-ups effectively.
- Ensure systematic documentation of sales transactions, contracts, and relevant materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in a sales support or administrative role.
- Strong organizational and analytical capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.
- Experience with Pipedrive or similar CRM systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Dodge Construction or familiarity with the construction industry is beneficial.
