The Sales Business Partner - Principal, GTM Strategy at Showpad is a senior individual contributor based in London. Reporting to the VP of GTM Strategy & Operations, this role serves as a key connector between Regional VPs of Sales and the technical Strategy & Operations team. The position focuses on translating the needs and goals of sales leadership into actionable, data-driven strategies and automated solutions. Success depends on understanding sales leaders’ challenges and ensuring that strategic initiatives are clearly communicated and effectively executed.
Key responsibilities
- Sales Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with Regional VPs and the VP of GTM Strategy & Operations. Attend leadership meetings to turn field needs into quantitative requirements for the Strategy & Operations team.
- Full-funnel oversight: Track retention benchmarks and deliver data that helps VPs protect and grow their customer base.
- Field innovation scout: Spot manual processes impacting VPs and sales reps, then work with the Director of Insights and Innovation to define AI-driven solutions.
- Executive reporting: Lead the preparation of "Last-Mile" reporting for Sales QBRs, transforming dashboards into compelling narratives for VPs.
- Enablement liaison: Partner with the VP of Enablement to support the rollout and adoption of new processes or AI tools, ensuring sales leadership is coached and engaged.
- Conflict resolution: Prepare data-driven analyses and recommendations to help resolve territory or quota disputes for VPs.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in Sales Operations, GTM Strategy, or Revenue Operations roles.
- Executive presence: Proven ability to collaborate with VPs, present data-driven recommendations, and build trusted relationships.
- Generalist skills: Comfortable working across datasets from Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance.
- Operational grit: Hands-on approach to solving VP challenges, with the discipline to transition long-term solutions to the Pune COE.
