As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the initial point of contact for prospective SumUp merchants, introducing them to a product that genuinely impacts their operations.

Your Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with businesses through targeted outbound calls to assess their needs and determine their suitability for SumUp’s POS and payment solutions.
- Qualify merchants by collecting key business insights and providing guidance on how our products can enhance their operations.
- Arrange high-quality, localized appointments for our Field Sales team to deliver comprehensive demos, negotiate terms, and secure deals.
- Focus on outreach to merchants who haven’t reached out, leveraging outbound tools, lead lists, and historical opportunity data.
- Contribute significantly to deal generation by ensuring Field Sales maintains a robust pipeline of well-suited, engaged prospects.
We’re excited to meet you if you possess:
- Exceptional communication skills and a warm, confident phone demeanor.
- Fluency in Finnish and English.
- Experience in direct customer or client interaction in a fast-paced setting.
- A proven track record in outbound outreach, comfortable initiating conversations from scratch.
- Some hands-on cold calling experience, along with the resilience that entails!
- Previous sales experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
