As the Client Services Relationship Manager, you will cultivate and oversee relationships with key affinity partners, playing a pivotal role in fostering partner development and identifying new growth avenues for the organization.The Client Services Division is responsible for engaging with senior decision-makers within our union and affinity partners. Our team collectively aims to sustain and enhance Cornmarket’s stature as the premier independent broker of financial services and products for Public Sector employees and their families. We prioritize the overall health and wellbeing of our partners and their members, employing a customer-centric approach in crafting and delivering tailored solutions.In this role, you will engage with established and emerging client segments, forging deep connections with Public Sector and affinity partners, while influencing commercial outcomes that align with Cornmarket’s long-term strategy. This position offers a dynamic environment, high visibility, and significant impact—combining renewal strategies, senior partner interactions, and insurer negotiations focused on commercial success.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic development of client and partner relationships.Establish and nurture trusted relationships with key partners to ensure exceptional service delivery and strong engagement.Serve as a dedicated liaison between external partners and internal stakeholders, collaborating across departments, including Finance, Life Sales, Life Administration, Marketing, Health, GI, and the broader Client Services Team.Contribute to Cornmarket’s growth strategy by identifying opportunities with new partners and supporting strategic client-facing initiatives.Represent Cornmarket in partner meetings, prospect discussions, insurer negotiations, and renewal processes.Advocate for partners within Cornmarket, ensuring their needs are met and facilitating seamless delivery across departments.Support independent brokering activities to maintain competitiveness.Stay informed about developments in the life, pension, and general insurance sectors to aid decision-making and partner discussions.Lead new business opportunities and marketing efforts.Develop a comprehensive understanding of each client’s culture, needs, and expectations to provide outstanding service.Manage partner inquiries promptly and effectively, setting clear expectations and overseeing service level agreements (SLAs), while acting as a point of escalation for complex issues.
