Role overview
This remote Sales Development Representative (SDR) position focuses on the home services sector. The role centers on outbound prospecting, generating leads, and building a strong sales pipeline. Daily work involves reaching out to business owners and decision-makers, understanding their needs, and scheduling qualified meetings for the sales team.
Key responsibilities
- Drive outbound prospecting through cold calls, SMS, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Research and identify potential home service businesses, such as HVAC, plumbing, and roofing companies.
- Qualify leads by having discovery conversations.
- Arrange meetings and product demos for Account Executives.
- Track sales pipeline activities accurately in CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Follow up with prospects to move them through the sales funnel.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as an SDR, BDR, or in outbound sales.
- Strong cold calling skills and the ability to handle objections.
- Background in selling to home services or local businesses is a plus.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfort working in a target-driven environment.
- Experience with CRM tools and sales processes.
- Self-motivated and disciplined, especially when working remotely.
