Sales Development Representative

Join Sumo Logic as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and become an integral part of our expanding sales team in Australia. This role offers an exciting pathway for individuals eager to launch their careers in B2B SaaS sales while honing essential skills in prospecting, qualification, and sales pipeline development.

Role Overview: In the SDR position, you will be pivotal in our go-to-market strategy, focusing on identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers, while collaborating closely with Account Executives to cultivate high-quality sales leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and identify new customer accounts within your designated territory.
  • Schedule outbound meetings through cold calls, emails, social outreach, and targeted networking with various buyer personas, including Directors, VPs, and C-level executives.
  • Qualify both inbound and outbound leads, converting them into sales-ready opportunities.
  • Deliver relevant marketing content to potential customers and promote marketing events.
  • Utilize a modern prospecting tech stack, including tools like HockeyStack, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Lusha, Outreach, Orum, Qualified, and others.
  • Work collaboratively with Account Executives to develop and implement a cohesive territory strategy, ensuring effective messaging reaches the right prospects at the right time.
