Due to the expansion of our organization, we are seeking a dynamic and skilled Sales Engineer who can lead the initial phase of challenging projects to a successful launch.
As a Sales Engineer specializing in building automation at Vandoren in Reeuwijk, you will enjoy a diverse role. You will be the vital link between technology and sales, providing support to your colleagues, the team manager, and the commercial manager regarding (innovative/alternative) technical and commercial solutions. This position is crucial for all departments within Reeuwijk.
Your work will vary from new construction projects one day to renovation or optimization tasks the next. Maintenance, monitoring, and management are also significant components of our services, which cater to schools, large distribution centers, sports halls, government buildings, offices, industrial buildings, and more. You will be part of the building automation team.
Your Challenge
As a Sales Engineer in building automation at Vandoren, you will determine your own approach and work from our Reeuwijk location on challenging projects related to climate control systems and regulatory solutions (building automation) and building sustainability. There is potential for growth into the Senior Sales Engineer position, where you will also interact directly with clients, manage acquisition processes, and take overall responsibility for the commercial success of new projects.
Your Responsibilities
Conduct site assessments to create customer-specific quotes;
Develop technical pre-engineering and cost calculations (quotes, tenders, and more/less work calculations);
Provide customers with appropriate advice and quotations;
Collect the necessary information while maintaining oversight of multiple bidding processes simultaneously.
