Qualifications
What You’ll Do:Collaborate with the Sales Team to communicate the comprehensive Datadog value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers. Lead a team of individual contributors to increase Datadog adoption within customer accounts. Oversee team resource allocation to optimize productivity and engagement. Support recruitment efforts to attract and hire top talent in your area. Mentor and coach new hires during their onboarding process to ensure successful skill development. Ensure your team is well-equipped to support all necessary Datadog solutions along with the required technical and interpersonal skills. Develop strong working relationships with Product Management, Support, and Enablement teams to ensure seamless transitions between pre-sales and post-sales activities. Conduct performance reviews and collaborate to implement individual development plans. Who You Are:Possess 1-3+ years of experience in a leadership or mentorship role within a Sales Engineering team, along with 3+ years in a client-facing Sales Engineering or equivalent role. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow as a professional, with a proven ability to navigate through change. Show a strong track record of developing and growing a team. Have experience in recruiting both individual contributors and frontline leaders. Possess knowledge of current infrastructure and monitoring solutions and technologies. Adept at creating and executing evaluation plans with customers, and mentoring others in the process. Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the business benefits of technical solutions.
