The Account Development Strategy & Operations team at DoorDash is dedicated to crafting, developing, and sustaining a top-tier sales organization aimed at propelling growth for our SMB restaurant partners through cutting-edge product solutions. We support the sales specialists focused on the DoorDash Commerce Platform, our rapidly expanding business unit that empowers restaurants to implement e-commerce ordering fulfillment for their first-party experiences (e.g., websites and in-store operations). Our portfolio includes Online Ordering, Tableside Order & Pay, CRM, Mobile Apps, and Websites, all designed to enhance merchant sales while seamlessly integrating into their existing operations and branding.

Your Role

As a Sales Strategy & Planning Manager at DoorDash, you will spearhead transformative initiatives that define our sales vision and operationalize it at scale. This role merges sales planning (including quotas, incentives, forecasting, and compensation design) with overarching strategy and operational leadership (pipeline management, go-to-market strategies, and long-term organizational planning).

You will act as a strategic advisor to Sales leadership, fostering operational discipline throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a balanced mix of strategic insight and execution, articulating the sales vision to elevate DoorDash into a B2B SaaS leader while implementing operational rigor to solve challenges and enable our sales team’s success. You will oversee cross-functional programs from inception to completion, ensuring alignment among Sales, Product, Finance, Analytics, and Sales Operations to meet ambitious growth targets.
