The School Psychologist at Rocketship plays a pivotal role in providing essential support to students, families, and staff, ensuring that we deliver high-quality programming for students with disabilities. Located in Nashville, TN, and reporting to the Manager of Psych Services, this position is vital in fulfilling our Child Find obligations. Our School Psychologists work across a select number of elementary schools, engaging in activities such as pre-referral meetings, conducting assessments, providing behavioral consultations, and offering both direct and indirect support to students receiving social-emotional interventions. Additionally, you will assist school leaders in implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Our schools adopt a meaningful inclusion model for special education, making it essential to collaborate with teams to create plans that enable all students, regardless of their needs, to spend the majority of their time in general education classrooms.
