About the Position

The Hsu Lab invites applications for a Scientist role focused on the development and application of innovative genome editing technologies. Our recent discovery of Bridge Recombinases, naturally occurring RNA-guided DNA recombinases that can programmatically insert, excise, and invert DNA, marks a significant advancement in the field (Nature, 2024 and Science, 2025). The selected candidate will lead the next phase of Bridge Recombinase evolution, building on our progress with IS110 and ISCro4 as programmable tools.
