Alcazar Energy is hiring an Accountant in North Macedonia. This position plays a key role in supporting the company’s mission to advance sustainable energy solutions. The Accountant will handle a range of financial responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout daily operations. What you will do Compile and analyze account information to prepare entries for asset, liability, and capital accounts. Accurately record financial transactions in the ERP or accounting system. Evaluate accounting options and recommend actions to support financial decision-making. Prepare and summarize financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss reports. Ensure all financial transactions are supported with proper documentation for audit purposes. Follow established accounting policies and procedures to maintain internal controls. Reconcile discrepancies by collecting and analyzing relevant data. Process payments by verifying documentation and handling disbursements. Generate ad hoc financial reports by analyzing and summarizing account trends. Keep financial data confidential and protect sensitive information. Coordinate with auditors to support the completion of external audits. Assist the line manager with special projects and workflow improvements as needed.
