Key Responsibilities:Support in responding to subpoenas, discovery requests, and regulatory inquiries by collecting and organizing essential documents, alongside preparing evidence (RFPs and ROGs) for the filing of pleadings. This includes the organization and management of documentation and evidence across various intradepartmental databases (e.g., HR/IT databases, emails, web-operating systems, files).Assist In-House Counsel in the review, editing, and drafting of agreements, waivers, and business contracts.Act as a liaison among all parties, including courts and other neutrals, for scheduling and information sharing.Organize and manage documents, creating spreadsheets and retrieval systems for tracking legal defense costs, possible indemnity, and self-insured retention funds against deductible amounts.Assist with the review, tracking, and management of insurance claims related to property damage, liability, or employee issues. Create and update a master tracker for these claims.Maintain a legal calendar for IHC and others, including depositions, deadlines, and mediations.Track and organize risk management information and documentation (e.g., incidents).Manage legal documents through filing, indexing, and maintaining document databases, including tracking key dates (renewals, terminations, expirations).Oversee billing and timekeeping by tracking billable hours and expenses related to client matters.Engage in other duties or projects as required.
