The Role
At Helsing, we provide AI-driven capabilities and foundational technologies that empower machines to enhance human decision-making. You will have a unique opportunity to develop AI capabilities in a challenging sector where high generalization needs to meet hardware constraints and real-world resilience.
As part of a team dedicated to pushing the limits of autonomous robotics through reinforcement learning, your focus will be on designing, training, and deploying RL-based controllers for robots in complex, unstructured, and dynamic real-world environments, areas where traditional control strategies fall short. This role involves enabling robots to perceive and comprehend their surroundings by integrating diverse sensory inputs, including vision, to inform robust and adaptive control strategies. You will manage the entire pipeline, from simulation to deployment, ensuring that learned policies are not only robust and efficient but also primed for real-world operations under stringent hardware limitations.
