About the Role:
Following our acquisition of Securiti AI, a pioneer in AI-driven data security posture management (DSPM), Veeam is on the lookout for a Senior Sales Engineer. This role will be pivotal in providing technical expertise within our sales team, with an emphasis on the Securiti AI portfolio. You will collaborate closely with a Securiti Sales Specialist and offer support to 3–5 Account Executives and Veeam Solution Engineers as the go-to technical expert.
Your responsibilities will include guiding clients from their initial needs assessment through to solution design, showcasing the value of our offerings through hands-on demonstrations and proof-of-concepts. To excel in this position, strong technical proficiency coupled with the ability to establish lasting relationships with clients is essential.
What You’ll Do:</strong>
- Act as the primary technical liaison for Securiti AI solutions throughout the sales process
- Lead technical discussions and tailor security solutions to meet client needs
- Address customer requirements in data discovery, posture management, and compliance
- Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concept presentations
- Work collaboratively with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure seamless transitions
What You’ll Bring:</strong>
- Extensive experience in pre-sales or sales engineering
- Deep understanding of data and/or cloud security
- Strong communicator adept at engaging both technical and business stakeholders
- Over 10 years of technical sales experience in security
- 15+ years in Software/SaaS/Enterprise technical sales
- Practical knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with data privacy/security standards (e.g., GDPR, etc.)
