What You Bring to Applaudo:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field is preferred.
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in developing native Android applications.
- Proficient in Kotlin and Java, with strong expertise in Object-Oriented Design and the Android platform.
- A comprehensive understanding of the Android ecosystem, including various architectures, trends, and upcoming technologies.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of client/server architectures and web services (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
- Familiarity with Android Jetpack Compose.
- Experience implementing Clean Architecture and MVVM design patterns.
- A solid grasp of XML and JSON.
- Excellent communication skills with advanced proficiency in English, enabling effective interaction with US clients.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Developing native Android applications from the ground up while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Defining API requirements, consuming RESTful web services, and efficiently processing results.
- Creating prototypes to showcase the capabilities and functionalities of new Android technologies.
- Participating in agile development processes to meet project requirements and deliver features end-to-end.
- Collaborating closely with developers, designers, and product managers to address technical challenges and product needs.
- Following UI/UX guidelines set by the design team to deliver exceptional user experiences.
