Your Role as a Data Architect
Are you eager to redefine the landscape of data management in a dynamic, global technology firm? At Blyce, we are searching for an innovative Data Architect to join our Technology/Product team in either Curaçao or Medellín. In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in building a data-centric infrastructure throughout the organization, architecting and overseeing data models, flows, and access protocols, while guiding teams to adopt a data-first approach.
On a daily basis, you will ensure Blyce's operations are characterized by structured, scalable, and secure data practices, empowering our teams to develop impactful, data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Governance
Design and oversee data models, data flows, and integration strategies across the organization.
Define data ownership, boundaries, responsibilities, and security/access patterns.
Create scalable architectures for analytics, data lakes, and data warehouses.
Implement robust data security, privacy, and governance practices.
Mentorship & Leadership
Guide teams towards a data-first mentality and best practices in architecture.
Serve as a trusted advisor on data strategy, architectural decisions, and operational enhancements.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and practical decision-making across teams.
Strategic Impact
Balance structure with practicality, transforming abstract ideas into tangible solutions.
Identify and resolve real challenges in active environments that create operational strain.
Support the organization’s shift towards a unified, product-focused approach for data and analytics.
