As an Area Manager with Dexterra, you will serve as a key representative for our transit cleaning operations, collaborating closely with site supervisors, team leads, and managers to oversee multiple account operations.
Your primary goal will be to strengthen client relationships and negotiate contracts that drive new business opportunities and enhance profitability for the organization. You will build long-lasting connections by delivering operational excellence that meets both client and customer needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and sustaining a profound understanding of client requirements, customizing services to match their unique needs.
- Supervising and supporting site supervisors, team leads, and managers to ensure operations run effectively and efficiently.
- Clearly communicating performance expectations, monitoring results, and rewarding achievements to ensure plans, goals, and budgets are fulfilled.
- Identifying and addressing gaps in operational standards to boost client satisfaction.
- Facilitating regular team meetings to ensure alignment on objectives and address any concerns.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and operational efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with all organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Managing budgeting and forecasting to meet financial targets.
- Providing leadership, development, and mentorship to site teams, enhancing their skills and career trajectories.
- Implementing health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all employees.
- Addressing conflict resolution and handling grievances promptly and effectively.
- Identifying new opportunities for marketing and selling additional products and services to existing clients or new prospects.
- Connecting key contacts at Dexterra with similar roles within client organizations to build a strategic network of influence.
