KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDrive the global advancement of the Business Assurance (BA) Forest Management certification sector (FSC FM and PEFC FM).Administer the FSC Forest Management accreditation while supervising and supporting local PEFC FM accreditations.Facilitate accreditation body audits ensuring prompt and effective resolution of findings.Handle complaints and appeals in alignment with SGS policies, procedures, and accreditation mandates.Prepare and present necessary documentation for Advisory Board meetings.Ensure certification competence through auditor approval and oversight of certification functions as the Technical Approval Authority (TAA).Oversee quality management processes and monitor the performance of SGS-affiliated entities.Coordinate and conduct internal technical audits in accordance with the global internal audit plan.Manage Level 1 (L1) audits pertaining to accreditations.Supervise and conduct technical reviews of certification reports to guarantee compliance with accreditation standards and sound certification decision-making.Provide timely technical assistance and guidance to assigned SGS affiliates.Maintain accurate records as required by accreditation standards.Ensure the ongoing accuracy of the FSC database.Adhere to all quality and safety protocols within the SGS management system.Conduct FSC Forest Management audits as needed.Perform additional tasks as delegated by your direct supervisor.4. SPECIFIC AUTHORITIESStop using any equipment considered a safety risk and report hazardous conditions to higher authorities.Cease work that may compromise service quality (integrity) and notify higher authorities.Initiate formal improvement requests when deviations from the system are identified or potential improvements are noted.
