Darfur Response Project
Since January 2024, Humanity & Inclusion has been present in Sudan, addressing the ongoing crisis. In partnership with a local NGO in Gedaref State, teams provide physical and functional rehabilitation at health centers and within communities. Mental health and psychosocial support, including both individual and group counseling, is also a key part of the response.
Operations have expanded geographically and across different sectors. Emergency response teams started work in Darfur in December 2024, focusing on the western regions. Since January 2025, activities in Darfur have addressed basic needs such as water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH), food security, and livelihoods. Assessments for further sector involvement are ongoing.
Atlas Logistique Operations
Atlas Logistique (AL), a specialized unit within Humanity & Inclusion, has supported humanitarian organizations since 1993. AL is dedicated to improving humanitarian supply chains, ensuring that aid reaches even the most difficult locations. Its services include shared transport and storage, medical logistics, logistics training, and light civil engineering for emergency preparedness and response. Following an initial assessment in Darfur, AL is launching new operations focused on storage, transport, and building local capacity.
