Context
As part of ongoing efforts to enhance health data systems in Côte d'Ivoire, QED, in partnership with local collaborators, is seeking a Part-Time Print Assistant for ScanForm to assist in the preparation and production of paper health registers utilized in ScanForm-supported programs.
QED is the developer of ScanForm, a digital data entry and processing platform designed to convert paper health records into structured, analyzable data. ScanForm enables frontline health workers to continue using familiar paper tools while facilitating rapid data digitization, validation, and integration into downstream information systems. The platform emphasizes data quality, user-friendliness, and alignment with national reporting systems.
In Côte d'Ivoire, ScanForm relies on high-quality printed registers to ensure accurate data entry in health facilities. The Print Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting this effort by preparing, printing, organizing, and ensuring the quality of paper documents used in the field.
Position Objective
The objective of this position is to support the implementation of ScanForm by ensuring that printed registers and paper documents are produced accurately, consistently, and in accordance with specifications, with a keen focus on detail and quality control.
Scope of Tasks and Key Responsibilities
The ScanForm Print Assistant will be responsible for the following activities:
- Prepare and print ScanForm registers and related paper documents in accordance with established templates and specifications.
- Utilize printers and basic computer equipment for document preparation and printing.
- Conduct routine quality checks on printed documents, ensuring proper formatting, pagination, alignment, and completeness.
- Organize, label, and pack printed registers for distribution or storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Promptly report printing errors, equipment issues, or supply needs to supervisory staff.
