Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
- Champion the Soho House brand and focus on delivering outstanding service for members and guests.
- Maintain a strong presence on the restaurant floor, engaging with members to gather feedback and share insights with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Proactively address concerns to ensure members and guests leave satisfied.
- Lead by example on the floor, setting a positive pace and upholding high standards.
- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to team members.
- Oversee mise en place organization and maintain control of preparation areas.
- Conduct daily briefings to update the team on important member and guest information.
- Demonstrate thoughtful decision-making as a leader.
- Ensure prompt handling and reporting of negative feedback for quick resolution.
- Take immediate corrective action in response to incidents.
- Manage ordering and purchasing of club products.
- Operate and maintain the POS system, keeping all items up to date.
- Serve as the main point of contact for staff questions or issues, using proactive problem-solving.
- Ensure the team follows grooming and uniform standards.
- Update menus monthly, ensuring accuracy and meeting management deadlines.
- Coordinate with other departments to keep club operations efficient.
- Organize and distribute necessary documents and information to employees.
