Position Overview:
As an Assistant Selling Manager, you will lead by example on the sales floor in the absence of a manager, fostering a culture of success and teamwork. Your compensation will be directly linked to your sales performance, with opportunities for bonuses based on coaching effectiveness and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
· Drive sales leadership and manage floor operations (including upselling)
· Enhance customer experience and support guests
· Oversee inventory management, promotional control, and cash handling
· Manage facilities and building operations
· Foster a positive store culture and lead communication initiatives
· Uphold store operations and standards
· Train team members and manage performance
· Report on KPIs and participate in management meetings
· Manage bedding finance and protection finance
Qualifications:
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
· Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a retail or retail leadership position is preferred.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
· Physical demands include standing or walking for extended periods and occasional lifting.
· Work environment is primarily on the retail sales floor.
· Schedule includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
