Develop and validate hydraulic models (using tools such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, and InfoWorks ICM) to support the design of flood alleviation schemes, flood risk assessments, river restoration projects, or the Environment Agency’s flood maps.Project Delivery: Lead and contribute to proposals ranging from innovative individual projects to multimillion-pound framework contracts. Produce and review high-quality technical reports that document model development and uncertainties in the modeling process. Conceptualize and frame modeling and hydrological strategies, considering associated risks and opportunities.Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients and teams of engineers and technical specialists to assist in delivering a diverse range of fluvial, coastal, surface water, or drainage flood risk management projects.Leadership: Mentor team members to foster their professional growth and cultivate relationships with clients and across various technical disciplines.Quality Assurance: Stay informed about developments in legislation and guidelines that may impact our services.
