Your Role
As a Senior Control Assurance Assessor at Experian, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to evaluating and testing the effectiveness of security controls across both on-premise and cloud environments. Your mission is to ensure that these controls are designed robustly and implemented effectively to protect Experian's valuable assets. You will carry out assurance activities that assess the design, performance, and compliance of controls with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will identify control gaps, meticulously document your findings, and provide actionable recommendations for enhancing security measures to mitigate risks effectively. Leveraging data-driven testing techniques and adhering to a defined testing methodology, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to confirm that controls are appropriate in response to evolving risks and regulatory changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive security control assessments, utilizing documented control activities and regulatory guidelines.
- Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and procedures, gathering evidence from various security tools.
- Analyze queries and dashboards to pinpoint potential control failures during the testing phase.
- Ensure the precision and timely execution of control testing, providing peer reviews when necessary.
- Document findings thoroughly, including root cause analysis and relevant recommendations for remediation.
- Act as the main liaison with business stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on progress and results.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback to continuously enhance the control testing program, sharing lessons learned.
