You will utilize components like VFDs, soft starters, and standard industrial devices to ensure these systems are installed with the utmost safety and reliability under test conditions.In addition to installation duties, you will be instrumental in automating and securing test environments. This entails programming inverters for automatic speed and load control, developing motor control strategies for simulating dynamometers, implementing safety triggers and interlocks, and designing control systems for both new and upgraded test benches. You will also be tasked with diagnosing and resolving automation issues, continually enhancing the efficiency and safety of our laboratory operations.Your expertise will extend to optimizing our data acquisition systems, which includes integrating and maintaining Tractian sensors, data acquisition systems, vibration analyzers, thermal cameras, as well as commercial process sensors such as flow, pressure, torque, and temperature sensors. Although your primary focus will be on electrical and automation tasks, you may also assist with mechanical setups and additional laboratory operations. This position demands hands-on experience in industrial automation, strong diagnostic capabilities, and a solid grasp of safety protocols, documentation practices, and collaborative teamwork.
