Key Responsibilities:Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to various payers, including private insurance and Medicaid.Conduct thorough verification of insurance eligibility and benefits for both new and existing clients.Monitor and follow up on unpaid or denied claims; initiate appeals when necessary.Oversee authorizations, re-authorizations, and documentation requirements for ongoing services.Reconcile payments, post Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and prepare client invoices as required.Adhere to HIPAA regulations, payer guidelines, and ABA-specific billing codes (e.g., CPT 97151, 97153, 97155).Work collaboratively with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), administrative staff, and families to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure efficient revenue cycle management.
