We are looking for a dedicated Business Operations Analyst to bolster the operational backbone of our Professional Services division. This pivotal position is essential for enhancing visibility, efficiency, and scalability in service delivery, resource management, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will merge analytical precision with operational insight, working closely with Services leadership to transform data into actionable strategies.
This role does not focus on project delivery; rather, it centers on service business operations aimed at ensuring predictable execution, optimizing capacity and profit margins, and facilitating informed decision-making as our organization expands.
Key ResponsibilitiesServices Operations & Resource Management
- Oversee comprehensive service operations from deal handoff to delivery and closure, ensuring operational readiness at every phase.
- Collaborate with Services leadership on resource planning, capacity modeling, and utilization management to effectively balance demand, cost, and service coverage.
- Track project setup, staffing alignment, billing readiness, and delivery health to proactively identify risks and inefficiencies.
- Pinpoint recurrent operational bottlenecks and propose enhancements that safeguard profit margins and delivery standards.
- Assist in subcontractor management by monitoring onboarding status, utilization rates, costs, and performance, and by providing insights that facilitate effective deployment, margin management, and delivery preparedness.
Business Analytics, Reporting & Insights
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of service-related data across various systems (CRM and PSA, Strategy).
- Serve as the primary contact for service dashboards, translating metrics and trends into actionable insights that guide resource decisions, enhance forecasting accuracy, and optimize delivery execution.
- Convert complex data into clear insights and recommendations for Services and executive leadership.
- Assist in quarterly planning, forecasting, and QBR preparation through data-driven analysis.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Act as a bridge between Professional Services, Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Support deal reviews by validating service scope, pricing assumptions, staffing feasibility, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with Finance on billing readiness, revenue recognition support, and variance analysis.
- Facilitate consistent operating rhythm across teams through standardized reporting and governance.
- Prepare and review sales and contractual documents (e.g., Statements of Work, Work Orders, Change Orders, estimates) for both standard and custom deals, ensuring compliance with Strategy's policies.
