About the job
Transforming Security for Developers.
At Aikido, we're redefining the security landscape for software development. Traditional security tools often hinder progress, causing delays and frustrations for development teams. We are committed to creating developer-centric security products that minimize risk without obstructing the software shipping process. Our mission is to streamline security, focusing on what truly matters while automating the rest.
Founded in 2022 by experienced entrepreneurs, Aikido has secured $85 million in funding and is poised for significant growth. Our goal is to pave the way for self-securing software. Join a talented team, take on real responsibilities, push the limits, and create impactful solutions.
As our inaugural CFO, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial clarity and discipline as we aim to scale to $250 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and beyond.
Your responsibilities will include defining and executing strategic financial objectives across the organization while preparing Aikido for efficient scaling and future fundraising efforts. You'll take a hands-on approach while establishing the foundational finance function. Initially, you will also oversee General and Administrative functions (HR, IT, internal operations) and guide their transition into specialized teams as we expand.
You will collaborate across various international entities and jurisdictions, creating scalable structures and navigating financial, legal, and tax complexities.
