Soho House Chicago is hiring a Seasonal Host to join the team from May through September at 113-125 N Green St, Chicago, IL 60607. As the first point of contact for members, guests, and staff, the host sets the tone for each visit. Warm greetings, strong organizational skills, and a professional, friendly manner help ensure every guest feels welcome.
What you will do
- Greet members and guests by name when possible, making everyone feel at home from the moment they arrive.
- Manage a busy phone line: answer questions, provide information about menus, hours, and amenities, and handle reservations for the Club and dining areas.
- Support Food & Beverage Managers on the floor and help maintain Soho House service standards.
- Communicate clearly and warmly in every interaction.
- Work closely with the reception team to deliver consistent, high-quality service and manage expectations.
- Build rapport with members and guests, sharing feedback with management as needed.
- Contribute to a positive, approachable atmosphere throughout the club.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
