Machine Conceptualization & Implementation
- Design and conceptualize innovative machines that meet customer requirements while optimizing automation levels and cost structures.
- Guide cross-functional teams throughout the phases of machine development, testing, and validation.
- Supervise and assist with PLC programming and integration during the development and commissioning of machines.
- Ensure machines are successfully implemented and stabilized prior to structured handover to the maintenance department.
Automation Strategy
- Create and sustain a detailed automation roadmap that aligns with business objectives and technological advancements.
- Ensure the execution of automation projects with defined ROI targets and performance metrics.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within technical operations.
- Utilize lean principles and other methodologies to enhance processes and minimize waste.
- Pioneer new technological innovations like Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), Generative AI, and other emerging solutions.
Benchmarking & Technology Scouting
- Conduct periodic benchmarking with international sister plants and industry peers to discover best practices and identify performance gaps.
- Remain informed about cutting-edge technologies and evaluate their relevance to present and future operations.
- Collaborate with R&D, suppliers, and academic entities to investigate innovative solutions.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing Technical Engineering team.
- Encourage transparent communication, ownership, and accountability within the team.
- Ensure team objectives align with organizational strategy and customer expectations.
